Some up to the date information and fun facts and photos from Pearmund Cellars.
Another stop on our journey through Bordeaux was at the prestigious Château Haut-Bailly, one of the great estates of Pessac-Léognan.
At every step, we felt the sense of history, craftsmanship, and confidence that comes with being one of the worlds finest Chateaus. The respect they showed to the Terrior was the same as it was when the Estate started making wine 500+ years ago. Truly humbling.

Travel season is in full swing.
We've already explored Portugal and the Loire Valley this year, and now we're giving Bordeaux our full attention.
One stop: The Fabled Château Pichon Baron in Pauillac, one of the great estates of Bordeaux's Left Bank.
These trips are built for wine lovers seeking unforgettable experiences, exceptional wines, good company and Graydon getting photo ops with big bottles!!! We'll wrap up France later this month, then it's on to planning our 2027 destinations.
Stay tuned.

🎶 Friday Night Wine Down 🎶
Countdown to Friday has begun.
It's time for another workweek wash off at Pearmund Cellars.
Andrew Young returns with a mix of contemporary favorites, acoustic classics, and enough familiar songs to keep the patio humming all evening long.
For dinner, Doxy Food and Company will be serving made-to-order paninis, fresh salads, and shareable bites. If you haven't tried them yet, make Friday your first time.
We're open at 10am for those taking advantage of summer hours. The music starts at 5pm and rolls until 8pm.
Grab a glass, claim your favorite patio seat, and let somebody else worry about cooking dinner for a change.

🎉 Bingo is Back! 🎉
The race is on! This weekend, BJ, Fred, DeForest, and Naomi visited all three wineries to get a head start on this year's Trifecta Bingo.
Each bingo card is packed with fun and achievable challenges across our family of wineries—Pearmund Cellars, Effingham Manor, and Vint Hill Craft Winery.
Best of all, it's completely free to play! Earn prizes for completing a line, and even more rewards for filling out your entire card.
Stop by any of the three wineries to pick up your bingo card and start playing. The game runs now through Labor Day, so there's plenty of time to sip, explore, and win!

50 years ago on May 24 1976, the Judgment in Paris took place.
As part of the US Bicentennial celebration, wine merchant Steven Spurrier, invited the top wineries in California to compete in a blind tasting with the top Bordeaux and Burgundy wines. No one gave the US wine much of a chance, as their reputation was not yet established.
In each category, the US wines came out on top. Among the US wines represented were Stags Leap, Freemark Abbey, Ridge and Chateau Montelana. All the wines remain at the top of the US Wine food chain. Some say that day was a turning point in the US wine industry. Movies, books and lectures are still in our culture about that day.
On the 50th anniversary of the Judgement, we say congratulations to all in the US wine industry for you we have done and what we look forward to doing.
