HUGE shout out to Mark Ward and the winemaking team for their latest accolade.
This months Forbes Magazine did a feature piece on the Countries best Viognier. Yep, Vivian--The Viognier offered at sister property Vint Hill Craft Winery was highlighted as one of the top three.

Making three distinctly different wines at three distinctly different properties is hard enough, but to have each become Nationally known, Gold Medal wines (Harvest Challenge) is even more impressive. Congratulations.

We don't enter Black Ops for competition, but sometimes the competition comes calling.
Black Ops was named best Red Wine at the Annual Coastal Virginia wine show, as voted by the 3000 attendees. While the wine is special and awards are nice, the best part of the wine is that through its sales, Black Ops is able to raise money forCode of Supportpport who help our veterans and families everyday.

Do you remember your first trip to a winery? Chelsea will.
Imagine being taking to a winery on your 21st birthday to sample wines. When there, Chris Pearmund decides to give the tasting, walk you through the barrel room, open up from the library, and give an unforgettable experience. Happy Birthday Chelsea!
This is why we do what we do. To share, educate, and give memories. We apologize in advance for potentially setting the winery visit expectation a bit high.

Our first visit to a winery was at Pearmund Cellars. We had just gotten a basenji and heard that Pearmund had a basenji. Still have our Redmund memorabilia. 🐕
First time I went to a winery was twenty years ago. And it was Pearmund. Made many return trips too!
Happy birthday Chelsea
