Wrapping up today, the American Wine Society's 58th annual convention was held in Chantilly-with Virginia taking center stage. Wines and wine lovers from around the world gathered to learn, talk, taste and celebrate, while sessions included everything from Macedonian varietals to NY Sparkling to (our favorite) 'Virginia Legends' featuring Chris Pearmund, Jim Law (Linden) and Luca Paschina (Barboursville).
As lead sponsors, our wineries were proud of how Virginia put her best foot forward, reminding the wine world that we are every bit as good as we think we are😜

This Saturday see a War Hero in action
Our friends at 550 CORD INC have helped us secure a flyover of the Placid Lassie, a 1943 Douglas C-47 Skytrain, who transported troops and supplies to the D-Day invasion. She will pass Pearmund Cellars at 1:30pm, with a second pass fifteen minutes later. No purchase or reservations needed--all are invited to see our Military History in flight.

Our harvest was completed weeks ago. 25+ tons of Chardonnay off of Meriwether vineyard in her 50th(!) Anniversary. However in walking the vineyard yesterday we saw we missed a few. So when you are enjoying the last bit of the 2025 Chardonnay a few years from now--and you want just one more sip--please remember this apology.😜

We’ve crushed the last of the 150+ tons of Grapes that make up the 2025 Vintage at Pearmund Cellars (plus Vint Hill Craft Winery and Effingham Manor Winery) . A toast to the Yeastie Boys!
The work isn’t done. They are now going to make that water into wine….but now they can take a breath, get a day off, and maybe even enjoy a glass!!

This Saturday 12p - 4p, bring the kids to the Farmstore for day of Fall Halloween fun.
Candy harvest, Simon Says, pumpkin painting, races, games, crafts and a Costume Parade at 2pm. Hot Dogs and Chili for sale, plus Fireside Kabab food truck on site.
Bring the camera, and your thirst. Remember.....While the Farmstore is family friendly, the Winery proper remains 21+ only.
On their annual quest for the finest Chardonnay, Jeanie, Will and Diane first stopped at Pearmund Cellars. Satisfied, but still determined, they were later spotted at Vint Hill Craft Winery. Something tells me the folks at Effingham Manor Winery better be on the lookout today.
They definitely picked the best three!
