Thank you everyone for bringing all the Love to our Valentines Day celebration. Once again, Pampa's Fox Catering knocked it out of the park. Let’s do it again soon! ... See MoreSee Less
Cathy and I had an absolutely wonderful time at the Pearmund Cellars Valentines Dinner. ❤️ The food and wine parings were spot on with the food some of the best I've tasted from Pampa's Fox. The absolute highlight, though, was the intriguing dinner conversation with fellow attendees along with the wine lectures presented by Chris Pearmund and Mark Ward between dinner courses. 😃 Looking forward to next year's Pearmund Cellars Valentines Dinner! ❤️
We like to use Presidents Day, usually reserved for Lincoln and Washington, to honor Thomas Jefferson--our third President, author of the Declaration of Independence, architect of the Louisiana Purchase, and inventor of the Swivel chair.....but most importantly is the Father of the Wine industry in the United States.
As a farmer, Jefferson planted numerous European varietals at Monticello (without luck), but taught us HOW to grow Vinifera. As a legislator, Jefferson fought for low taxes on wine, as to him wine was a proper alternative to homegrown whiskey.
Raise a glass to TJ at your favorite winery today. For without him, you may be having moonshine with dinner tonight.

Who knew he liked Pearmund Chardonnay? Great taste...
TJ, my 4th or 5th Great Uncle on my mother's side, depending of the branch!
Cheers!!! And thank you President Jefferson!!
Happy to lift a full glass to America's original (if unsuccessful) vintner. But by law, today is officially and technically George Washington's Birthday, not "Presidents Day."
Thank you, Mr. Jefferson!
Cheers to TJ!! 🥂

Will you be offering any wine paring events for February?
We popped into the winery today and tried a bottle of this 2022 Petit Verdot. It was wonderful & well deserving of its Gold Metal status!
My favorite
Your Petite Verdot is spectacular, and you've got serious competition in Virginia, where it seems to thrive. Well done and congratulations.
ICE WINE!
