Call it Columbus Day or Indigenous People Day--you be you...however did you know on this day, October 13th in 2018, a bottle of 1945 Romanee-Conti Grand Cru was sold at a Sotheby's Auction for $558,000-making it the most expensive wine ever purchased. A great wine indeed.

Now, 7 years later, you can get ANY THREE Pearmund wines for only $85. Also great wines. That's a $557,915 savings, plus you get two extra bottles!

Funny... but no joke. We have had several wineries near to us (not in VA) that used to make "serious" wine that was really excellent but now make all fruit flavored wines to cater to those who want to drink nothing more than alcoholic grape juice. I love your wine and have been a wine club member for many years. It is repeatedly excellent and I have no qualms in serving it to guests who know about wine. It is always well received.

It’s a Crush Monkey Friday!

The quest for the best wine starts with finding the best grape.

Partners like Dean at South River Vineyard, John at Silver Creek and the eight others we will source from (apologies), have been working non stop since March to get us the fruit you will drink in 2027. Thanks to all our partners who allow us to remain in the top tier of Virginia Wineries.

This weekend, we have it all.

Meisha Herron brings her Blues and soft rock sound to kick off the weekend with our in house Pizzeria taking care of dinner.

Tomorrow, appeal to your 'butter' half, as Cousins Maine Lobster stops by from 11a - 5p. Pro tip....Have a Lobster Roll with our Chardonnay.

Sunday, the pizza ovens get fired up again, and the Gold Medal Wines have an extra day of aging!!

Never forget!

It's not ALL about the wine.

At last week's Code of Support Gala, Chris Pearmund was awarded the Broad Impact award for his and the wineries work for Veterans and their families. Each year, sales of Black Ops wine and its give back to the Foundation make a difference in 100's of lives of those who need it. 🇺🇸

It on!!

We began the 50th harvest of the Meriwether Vineyard, gathering fruit for our Sparkling wine.

We like to pick our sparkling fruit a bit early, while the acidity is high and the berries are not fully ripe. In the next few weeks, we will gather the rest of the crop for our Chardonnay. This is a special time of year for us, where the efforts of so many literarily come to fruition.
