Summer is the time for Rose. Some are light, some are sweet, some are dry, and all are a bit different.

Our wine team will present different roses’ from around the world, discussing the differences and philosophies of wine making from each region, including Provence, Tuscany, Oregon, California and of course, Virginia.

With the wines is a lunch served in our Barrel Room from our friends at Pampas Fox.

We will discuss the nuances of Rose, different varietals and find which wine pairs best with which food. The open discussion with be educational, eye opening and fun.

Pampas Fox menu will consist of small bites, paired specifically with the wines chosen for the event.

1st course – crustless quiche with caramelized onions and gruyere

2nd course – Chicken in puff pastry, with summer spinach and strawberry salad.

3rd course – Watermelon & Lime sorbet

Lunch will be at 1pm. $60 per person. To keep the day intimate, and to make sure we answer every question, we are limiting 30 people. Afterwards, all wines will be available for purchase at special pricing.
