DESCRIPTION:Its that time of year–lets check in on the 2021 Vintage. \n  \nOur favorite event of the year is back!!! \nThree weekends in March: \nMarch 5/6        March 12/13        March 19/20 \nWe are hosting 4 daily (60-90 minute) sessions\, giving our friends a chance to preview the 2021 vintage wines while still in the barrel (or in some cases\, tank)\, getting an education about the process\, progress and techniques we use to make the best wine in Virginia.  \nThis years barrel tastings will be held as individually seated sessions in our tank room. Not only will you be tasting the wines\, but our wine makers will take you through the process–vineyard to glass—of the wine making process. Among others\, we will sample Petit Manseng\, Viognier\, a deconstructed Chardonnay\, Rose\, and all our 2021 reds. \nAll guests will have the opportunity to purchase the 2021 wines at special ‘futures’ pricing\, with wines available for pickup once they are bottled. \nFor added enjoyment\, a small food plate will accompany the wines. DESCRIPTION:One of our most popular events is back-where you become the winemaker!! \nOur winemaking team will lead you as you compete with other groups to make the best blend you can. We give you all the ingredients to make your blend\, with education along the way.  Our winemakers help monitor\, coach and test your blend. \nThe blend that comes closest to what the winemakers made will be called the winner–and will be immortalized on our 2021 Ameritage labels.  Each session is limited to 10 teams–2 people each team. \nFour dates\, two times each day: \nSaturday August 6; 12pm and 3pm \nSunday August 7; 12pm and 3pm \nSaturday August 20; 12pm and 3pm \nSunday August 21; 12pm and 3pm \nClick here to make a reservation \nPLEASE NOTE\, RESERVATIONS ARE PER TEAM.
