DESCRIPTION:Summer is the time for Rose. Some are light\, some are sweet\, some are dry\, and all are a bit different. \nOur wine team will present different roses’ from around the world\, discussing the differences and philosophies of wine making from each region\, including Provence\, Tuscany\, Oregon\, California and of course\, Virginia. \nWith the wines is a lunch served in our Barrel Room from our friends at Pampas Fox. \nWe will discuss the nuances of Rose\, different varietals and find which wine pairs best with which food. The open discussion with be educational\, eye opening and fun. \nPampas Fox menu will consist of small bites\, paired specifically with the wines chosen for the event. \n1st course – crustless quiche with caramelized onions and gruyere \n2nd course – Chicken in puff pastry\, with summer spinach and strawberry salad. \n3rd course – Watermelon & Lime sorbet \nLunch will be at 1pm. $60 per person. To keep the day intimate\, and to make sure we answer every question\, we are limiting 30 people. Afterwards\, all wines will be available for purchase at special pricing.
