SUMMARY:Rose's of the World Wine Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:Spring is the time for Rose. Some are light\, some are sweet\, some are dry\, and all are a bit different. \nOur wine team will present different roses’ from around the world\, discussing the differences and philosophies of wine making from each region\, including Provence\, Tuscany\, Oregon\, California and of course\, Virginia. \nWith the wines is a lunch served in our Barrel Room from our friends at Distinguished Engagements Catering. \nWe will discuss the nuances of Rose\, different varietals and find which wine pairs best with which food. The open discussion with be educational\, eye opening and fun. \nDistinguished has prepared a curated menu\, paired specifically with the wines chosen for the event. \nStarter – Fig\, Brie and prosciutto\nSalad – Watercress\, baby greens\, rose petals\, truffled ricotta\, pickled stone fruit\nEntree – Crispy ancho chili Margherita Pork belly – maple glaze -baby zucchini -Charred New Potatoes \nWe have two seatings. 12pm and 2pm. $65 per person. To keep the day intimate\, and to make sure we answer every question\, we are limiting 30 people per session.
