In November, Mary Anne Wassenberg, our
webmaster, along with several other members of our Pearmund Cellars
family, attended the 2007 American Wine Society Conference.
This yearly conference hosts a commercial wine competition, an amateur
wine competition, vendor displays, wine judge certification classes,
and seminars on unique varietals, wine regions, historical events,
food-pairing, and winemaking. At the commerical wine competition, Pearmund Cellars won five new medals, including a a gold medal for our 2005 Ameritage Reserve and a silver medal for our 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon. For more details, see the society's Commercial Competition Results page. |
