Grapevines are hearty survivors, and capable of producing good fruit, even when all other food crops fail. They accomplish this by extending Deep Roots into the soil, and drawing their sustenance from deep underground, where all other crops fail to reach. In the same way, we produce good spiritual fruit, when we are deeply rooted in God's Word, where the world's roots fail to reach.
